Introduction
Harimedia.net
This page is giving updated information on connecting to the Live Saturday Broadcast of Harimedia TV and Hari, Robert Campagnola.

From Saturday April 9th onwards, we are changing our video server to a QuickTime Streaming Server. What this means for the existing viewers is that they will need to connect to the broadcast either using Quicktime or the VLC player. If you have Quicktime installed or you want to use Quicktime to view the lecture, then go to the live streaming page here. All you need to do is to click or double click on the image and the Quicktime player will open with the broadcast. If you do not have Quicktime installed, the browser will suggest that you download it. You should have installed Firefox 4.x as this will work better. It works also in Safari and Chrome and the newer IE.

Important Note: The quicktime streaming server insists that if the connection is broken you have to reload the page or reconnect to the stream address to continue seeing it. It will not happen automatically. If there is some major glitch, keep trying to connect and sooner or later it will work.

If you would rather use the VLC player and you already have it installed, go to File, Open Network, and enter the URL rtsp://harimedia.tv:8000/hari.sdp or if VLC is already your default player for streaming media, then click here:
rtsp://harimedia.tv:8000/hari.sdp You can also download VLC player here.

The audio only broadcast for low bandwidth users will remain the same as before.

To listen to the English/Russian audio broadcast, enter the following in the box provided or simply click on this link:

The video for the Russian/English broadcast is streaming at around 160kbps, but it can go up to around 340kbps. This low bitrate is adapted to the internet reality of Russia. The audio only connection is meant for those with dial-up modems. To view the video you must have at least a basic high-speed Internet connection (cable or DSL). Be patient, it can take 20-30 seconds or more for the stream to load.

At 10:00 EST or EDT either every Saturday or alternatively on the first and third Saturday of each month (unless he is travelling), Hari will stream live a lecture on different topics. Although the broadcasts are recorded and you can hear them afterwards, it is better to view the live transmission to see Hari speaking and to share the energy of the experience together with the other viewers. It is a superior experience. On the front page of Harimedia.net the latest audio and video lecture can be found. Since the end of January, 2011, video recordings of the broadcasts will be available in the Video Gallery.

The broadcast is in stereo, with English on the left and Russian on the right being simultaneously translated intercontinentally. If you wish to hear only the english or lower the english while listening to the Russian, there are various ways this can be done using Quicktime and VLC. In Quicktime, if one is using the PC version or Quicktime 7 on a Mac (you need to install it from the second install DVD where it is placed in the Utilities Folder) when a stream is open, go to the menu item Window and show A/V controls and there is a balance slider there. Quicktime X has no balance controls or any other useable control for that matter. In VLC, simply go to the audio menu and choose the channel, L or R, that you want to hear. There is no balance control to mix the two languages in VLC player, therefore the recommended player is Quicktime if you wish to have a specialized balance between English and Russian.

Anyone during the lecture can contact Hari to offer feedback, ask questions, make comments, or to just say Hi using MSN or Windows messenger. Mac users without instant messenging may use Microsoft Messenger or (better) Adium.
If you don't have MSN messenger you can download it here

For using MSN messenger:
1.Install the program.
2.Enter a valid email address and a user name.
3.Contact Hari at kamala_hari@hotmail.com so he can place you in his contacts list.
4.Instant message him that you are watching. You can also instant message questions or comments about the video you are watching at appropriate times.

Have fun, spread the word about this, and come up with good discussion points

The broadcasting usually starts at about 10:00 in Florida, which is: 15:00 GMT, 18:00 in Moscow and St.Petersburg, or 13:00 Buenos Aires.

We will experience our being by loving without fear, without expectation, without attachment, without demands, and without judging ourselves or others. We shall accept life as it is, in conscious awareness of ourselves and the universe that we are co-creating. We shall be the wonderful and powerful spiritual forces of good we are.
